What we do
Four ways we can help with a cluster
A
OEM replacement clusters
Used OEM clusters from our inventory. Each listing states the work done on that exact unit, from a basic light-up check to a full function test, plus the donor odometer reading and programming needs.
Shop clusters →B
Rebuilt clusters
OEM clusters with documented repairs or replaced components, checked again after the work. Cleaned or checked alone doesn't make a cluster rebuilt, and we won't call it that.
Shop clusters →C
Mileage-matched replacements
For supported vehicles, a replacement cluster set to your vehicle's documented mileage and configuration before it ships. Requires your VIN, mileage and a signed certification.
How it works →D
Mail-in cluster repair
Repair of your own cluster, starting with selected GM clusters. Ask if yours is supported; we confirm the scope, price and turnaround in writing before you ship.
How mail-in works →Listing standards
What every cluster listing tells you
A cluster that looks right can still be wrong for your vehicle. So each listing carries the details you need to decide, and real photos of the actual unit.
Not every cluster gets the same work. Some are function-tested and repaired where needed; others get only a basic light-up check. Every listing says exactly which, for that unit, and we never describe a cluster as tested or rebuilt beyond what was actually done and recorded.
- Vehicle fitYear, make, model and configuration, such as gauge package or display type.
- OEM part numberExactly as on the factory label. We never cover or replace OEM labels.
- ConditionUsed OEM, or rebuilt only when a repair was done and recorded.
- Work doneBasic light-up check or full function test, any repair, and mileage matching if done.
- What was checkedThe functions we verified, and the ones we didn't.

Programming status, in plain words
Each listing states what installation needs for the vehicles it fits. If you aren't sure what yours needs, send your VIN before you order and we'll tell you.
We've confirmed this part number installs without programming on the listed vehicles.
Plan for programming after installation, by us or a shop with the right tools.
We can set this cluster to your vehicle's documented mileage before it ships. Your vehicle information and authorization are required.
Fit or programming depends on your vehicle. Send your VIN and we'll confirm.
Mileage-matched replacements
Mileage matching for replacement clusters
A replacement cluster should show your vehicle's true mileage, not the donor's. For supported vehicles with documented mileage, we set the replacement to match your vehicle's mileage and configuration before it ships. We need your vehicle information and signed authorization first.
Mileage matching sets the mileage only. It doesn't mean the gauges were function-tested; the listing states separately what was checked.
What we need from you
- Your vehicle's 17-character VIN.
- The current odometer reading, and a photo of it if the old cluster still displays.
- A signed mileage certification confirming you're the owner or authorized representative.
- Records such as a service invoice, inspection or title if the mileage is uncertain, or doesn't match what we see.
What comes with the cluster
- A service record showing the VIN, mileage programmed, date and technician check.
- A DashReliant QC label linking the cluster to that record.
Our mileage policy
Mileage matching is part of a supported cluster replacement or repair, and its only purpose is to keep the vehicle's recorded mileage accurate. We don't offer standalone odometer correction, resets or rollbacks, and we decline any job where the mileage can't be supported by your certification and records.
Federal and state law prohibit altering a vehicle's mileage.
Mail-in repair · Starting soon
Mail-in instrument cluster repair
Keep your original cluster and its mileage. We're validating repairs for selected GM clusters first, and we only accept a cluster once its repair has been checked by our technician on real units.
Send your details now and we'll tell you whether your cluster is supported, or let you know when it is. We won't ask you to ship anything until it is.
Send the details
Vehicle, cluster part number, what's wrong, and photos if you have them.
Your written quote
The repair, any diagnostic fee, shipping both ways, turnaround, warranty, and what happens if it can't be repaired. Nothing ships until you approve it.
Ship it
Packing instructions and our address come with the quote. Your cluster is tagged as customer-owned and kept apart from our inventory.
Diagnose and repair
We confirm the fault and repair it within the approved scope. If the job turns out bigger or costs more, we ask you first.
Back to you
The same cluster comes back with a plain-language record of what was repaired, what was tested, what wasn't, and any installation notes.
The repair is checked for the fault you sent it in for, plus a basic power and light-up check. A full gauge test is included only when your quote says so. We record the mileage shown when your cluster arrives and check it again before it ships back.
Quality control
The DashReliant label
Clusters that leave our shelves carry a DashReliant label. It shows only the work actually done on that unit, and its reference links the cluster to our internal service record.
- Placed so it never covers OEM part numbers or factory labels.
- Customer-owned mail-in clusters get a separate service tag instead, and stay apart from inventory.
- Lets us pull the record for any warranty question.
- Mileage-matched units also ship with a service record of the mileage, VIN, date and technician check.
